Whenever I go to the mountains, I feel like I’m coming home. Every mountain is unique in its colors and shapes. Sandra and Thomas are just like me, so they decided to celebrate their wedding in the middle of the alps.
The Wuhrstein Alm is a stylish bavarian panorama restaurant surrounded by alpine meadows and grazing cows with a wonderful view of the surrounding peaks.
While the luggage of the entire wedding party is brought up by bus, the guests and the bridal couple go on the one-hour hike to the hut and get in the right mood for the upcoming alpine wedding. So Sandra and Thomas have the opportunity to warmly welcome the guests.

When you arrive at the alpine pasture, there is a little refreshment and there is still time to freshen up for the wedding. The getting-ready shoot is my favorite phase of the wedding. Everything goes haywire and there is a wonderful tension in the air that is filled with anticipation. Children running in the aisles, parents getting ready for the ceremony and helping to set up the decorations for the celebration. The bride and groom meet with closest friends to make everything perfect for the big moment.

Thanks to the weather, the wedding can take place on the terrace. A wonderfully intimate atmosphere is created on the alpine pasture, where usually only cows ring their bells. For the bridal couple shoot, I was inspired by the alpine meadows that surround the restaurant.
I can only thank Sandra and Thomas for their trust in my work. It was a dream to be part of this wonderful festival.
