Stephanie and Felix created a midsummer night’s dream for their wedding in Anif, Salzburg. From the very beginning I felt connected to the young couple and their two children. Both radiate an intimate warmth from their hearts. The ease and calm of Stephanie immediately cast a spell over me. With the eyes of a child, she perceived all the impressions and enjoyed every minute of activity around her.
This time, I was also allowed to accompany the bridegroom Felix to the fitting and his nervousness at the first glance of his bride could be clearly felt.
The “first look” is always a special moment, filled with anticipation and tension. When Felix saw his bride for the first time, the tears flowed and I could feel my eyes starting to water. The love between the two was visible from afar.
The Schlosswirt Anif is a lovely place to get married. The spacious bridal suite with its wonderful stucco ceilings and stylish furnishings alone invites you to dream.
For the bridal couple shoot, we decided to use the gardens of Hellbrunn Palace because we had more motifs there. Since the sun is very high at noon and is often too strong in summer, I used the many shady places in the park for our shoot.
All guests have gathered in the garden of the Schlosswirt for the ceremony. The host’s garden is the perfect place for a free wedding ceremony. That always makes photographing a wedding very easy for me. I love free weddings because they are always tailored to the bridal couple. The Saitenschwestern gave the whole event a personal touch with their wonderful voices and instruments.
