This year I had a very special TFP shoot. The first time I worked with the magical Ellen of Cherry Top Event Planning. Together we wanted to create a shoot that does not necessarily dictate a particular style through the dress. Detached from convention, it was supposed to reflect a free-spirited couple who like to discover foreign lands, but who value nature from their homes as well.
This should be demonstrated by the contrasts of the stylistic elements, which on the one hand are rooted and on the other hand very spiritual and free. Dark reds, geometric shapes, gold, glass, Persian rugs, compass as place cards, old suitcases, globe and old books have transported for us the subject of wanderlust.
As a location we have selected the Haunsberg Castle in Oberalm near Hallein. I’ve been friends with the owners for years and think it was perfect for our shoot with its lofty walls. Its forest and the meadow gave us the relation to the nature, which we wanted for the pictures.
It quickly became clear that we needed a good team for this project.
Sandra from the Bindestelle has rounded off the decoration with her floral decoration and ideas.
Verena is an artist when it comes to hair and make-up. I have been working with her for years on advertising productions. With her airbrush, her work will always be perfect.
Ulrike from Magic Models has sent us two great people who dealt with each other in front of the camera as naturally as they have known each other forever. Thanks to Alina and Jakob for the great work.
Nicole has given the theme of wanderlust the perfect face with her graphics and has brought peace to the set by her beautiful soul.
Thanks also to Lia Braut Moden from Vienna and Haftton Clothing from Salzburg for the great equipment.
Right after the shoot I ordered my own wedding jewelry from Alexandra Eder. She has lovingly and caringly made me my very individual jewelry that is timeless and special.
I have been working as a mountain sports photographer for years and therefore it was important for me to get the connection to the mountains for the shoot. To finish the shoot, we drove to Rossfeld, only 25 minutes away, to make the dress shine in the last rays of sunshine.
For me it was the perfect day. Thanks to all contributors for your endurance and your love for detail!
